Exploring Reality: A Journey of Truth, Love, and Selflessness

Since ancient times, human beings have been pursuing a sacred reality that transcends time and thought. This exploration is not only about understanding the world, but also about exploring our own existence. Our thoughts are always limited by past experiences, cultural constraints, religious beliefs, and social rules. However, can these constructed concepts lead to true freedom? Can they lead us to the true truth?

The Limits of Thought and the Dangers of Differentiation

Thought is essentially a material activity that originates from knowledge, which can never fully describe reality. Thought creates boundaries that divide humanity into different religions, nationalities, and ideologies, such as communism and capitalism, Arabs and Jews, East and West. These divisions lead to conflicts, which are the inevitable result of the division of thought.

Any belief system constructed by thought cannot lead to reality. All religious organizations in the world - whether temples, mosques or churches - use signs and symbols to guide believers, but these symbols themselves are not sacred. The Buddha once said: "Do not believe in oral transmission, do not believe in the teachings of the saints, do not believe in the words of the teacher, do not believe in the scriptures, but only realize it yourself." ("The Buddha's Last Teachings") True enlightenment does not lie in blind acceptance, but in one's own exploration and enlightenment.

Beyond Belief, Face the Truth

If you want to explore reality, you must gather all your energy and completely get rid of all the constraints of faith and belief. The essence of faith is to accept the "truth" that has not been verified by yourself, while true exploration requires personal practice and deep insight, without relying on any established concepts or authoritative interpretations.

For example, if one wants to understand the vastness of the ocean, one cannot rely on the description of others, but must personally stand on the shore, gaze at the endless waves, or even jump into them to feel their depth and flow. Similarly, if one wants to get closer to reality, one cannot stay within the framework of thought, but must personally explore deeply, free from the constraints of all concepts, and observe one's own thoughts, emotions, fears, and obsessions.

The Order of Mind and the Power of Awareness

The universe operates in perfect order, so the mind must be in absolute order if it is to reach reality. This order does not come from external discipline, but from inner awareness. True awareness is different from concentration, because concentration is narrow and restricted, while awareness is open and unlimited. In awareness, the individual can observe the operation of his own thoughts without being controlled by them.

In Buddhism, there is a wonderful metaphor about awareness: "Just as the wind is not tied to a net, wisdom is not tied to attachment." (Vimalakirti Sutra) True wisdom flows freely like the wind, and it will not be bound by the net of belief. Awareness allows people to break away from mechanical thinking patterns, truly understand the root of confusion, and then transcend contradictions, imitation, and surrender.

Selfless Love and True Freedom

The ultimate goal of exploring reality is to reach true love and selflessness. Generally speaking, our love is mostly possessive, desire or obsessive, while true love is unconditional and without expectations. When a person is in a state of selflessness, his love will no longer be limited to personal needs, but a deep concern for all life.

The Diamond Sutra mentions: "One should not dwell on anything, but give rise to the heart." True love does not depend on a fixed form or object, but is an openness to the total existence. If a person can completely break free from the shackles of self-centeredness, his love will flow naturally like spring breeze and rain.

Meditation: The Empty Door to Reality

The core of meditation is to be free from the known and measured activities. When the mind is free from all thoughts, wishes, control and desires, it enters an absolute emptiness. This emptiness is not the tranquility constructed by thoughts, nor is it the quietness after the noise disappears, but a pure state beyond thinking.

In this state, there is no controller, and there is no effort, discipline or exercise imposed by the practice system. The true meaning of practice is learning, not surrender. True learning makes the mind delicate and enables people to face their own existence instead of escaping.

Conclusion: The manifestation of reality

When a person is completely free from the constraints of belief and thought and enters a state of awareness, he will gradually feel the reality that transcends time and cannot be described. From this selfless awareness, true freedom and love will naturally flow out.

Exploring reality is not about looking for something "sacred" constructed by thought, but about letting go of all concepts and being fully aware of everything in the present moment. In such a void, the truth will quietly unfold its brilliance like the dawn.
